How to get Evony Gifts
Taking advantage of the new Gift system of Evony Age 2, is a great way to get a massive edge in the game. Using the Facebook Gifts application a player can receive up to 30 gifts from his friends every single day! It’s easy to understand that this can help you a lot, just think about if everyone is giving you ballistae or archers, you can massive a huge army really quickly this way! You can only get 1 gift from each of your friends a day though, so how do you get all these gifts? It’s quite easy to do so, and I’ll tell you how to get the most out of the Evony gifts system in this article.
What you do is to join a facebook group, I suggest the Evony Age 2 Facebook Group. Click here and join the group, and then you post the server you are playing it on your wall. You’ll notice that other players from the same server will add you as a friend on facebook, and start sending gifts to you. Remember to send gifts back too!
You could also add other people from the same server as friends yourself, just look at the wall of the Facebook group and add all the players on your server as friends. Some of them might also want to be your allies in the game too, you can add allies both inside the Evony game and from the Facebook application.
Here is a list of all the gifts you can send and receive using the Facebook Gifts application right now. The best gifts in my opinion are the ballistae, archer’s towers and archers. In addition to getting gifts from Facebook friends, you’ll also get rewards when clicking Facebook feeds or when your friends click your feeds, more on this in an upcoming article. Hi, I’ve joined the FB group and added ppl that play on my server. I don’t understand how the gift system works though. Do you have to pay real $$ to give someone a gift? I’ve also become allies with some of the ppl. What does that actually mean, like how is that applied in-game? Thanks for the post.
The daily gifts (30 maximum) are free gifts using the facebook system. Note that facebook allies are not the same as Evony allies (which is an alliance for battle, I believe; I’m still figuring out the alliances).
I confused I think I will just stik wit the real game
YOU CAN ADD PPL EITHER WAY, i HAVE MY ALLIANCE AS FRIENDS ON MY FB PAGE AND AS ALLIES IN GAME. MY ALLIANCE ALSO HAS IT’S OWN FB PAGE. AS YOU POST TO YOUR WALL FROM THE POPUPS OF BONUSES- ALL YOUR FRIENDS CAN CLICK ON THEM AND RCV CALVARY,SWORDSMEN, PRESTIGE, LUMBER, ROLLING LOGS, ETC……. I SEND GIFTS ONCE DAILY TO ALL MY ALLIES AND FRIENDS. I HAD CALVARY BEFORE I COULD MAKE THEM. IT’S GREAT!!!!! MY SON GOT ME ON THIS GAME (HE WAS ON EVONY 1) AND HE IS ONE OF MY ALLIES EVEN THOUGH HE IS ON A DIFFERENT SERVER.

Alliances help you build prestige and get higher in the game
The main reason for having the allies list in Evony is to see how others are doing in terms of laying out successful cities. It gives one a gift swapping circle, but that is done better if you use group feature (organize your friends into [sub]groups.
Oh, yeah! It gives you a way of checking what server/world and which alliance is connected with an ally.
