Bots and scripts for Age 2
As some of you may remember there were several good bots and scripts that many of the top players in Evony used in Age 1. The best one of these were probably the open source bot script that you could run through your web browser called EvonyBot, or EvoBot for short. With this bot you could pretty much leave the game alone over night or when you were away at work, and you would come back to loads of resources and finished built cities. For Evony Age 2, a similar bot to this works just the same way and is very usefull. Having a bot farm NPCs, built cities, start research and train troops for you 24/7 is obviously really useful and will give you a huge advantage.
The problem with a bot for Evony Age 2, however, is that it is strictly not allowed and Evony really enforces these rules. It is also not allowed to use bots in Evony Age 1, and the old bots that were out there do not really work anymore. If you try to use some old versions of these that you have downloaded, Evony will find out about this pretty quickly and just ban your account. I suggest you built your cities and plan your empire out so that you don’t need any program for watching over the account 24/7. Even though many people ask, I will not share any bots for Evony Age 2 here on this website and I suggest everyone play the game the normal way and don’t use a bot to play the game for them.

Well that is a cheat very similar to payment – you gain something that gives you a game advantage over others by external means. You make yourself better and kill the fun for the rest.
Does it really help with any kind of mental disorder if you win this way? That you know, that you would be unable go with the rules, but you cheat them for what sake? It’s just a game, I can’t imagine these people in real life, where there are real things to gain and loose…
personally i believe that a bot is a neccecary tool for ppl who have day jobs that dont involve computers. it helps us keep up with the players who either dont have lifes or players who spend their working days on facebook and evony. they should at least look into making a bot that could help the players that just cant be online 24/7. anyway thats my 5c worths. good game though.
